The Band :

X-ENGINE-X is a LOUD aggressive guitar driven band without absolute nostalgic or current stylistic trappings, but one listen and you will recognize the influences bands like C.O.C., GODSMACK, KISS, and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS have had on X-ENGINE-X
X-ENGINE-X started in early ..98 and quickly built a solid club / web fan base with a dedicated street team.

X-ENGINE-X has completed several Mid Western tours of Canada and shared the stage with the likes of NICKLEBACK, NOISE THERAPY, FILTER, EDWIN, JARR/FLYBANGER and THE HEADSTONES among others.

In the summer of 2000, X-ENGINE-X headlined the 2nd stage @ ..SHAKIN.. THE LAKE.. (An outdoor festival with over 10,000 people in attendance.)

On May 11th 2001, the band released ..DISTORTIA.. (their 2nd release). Both ..COMMON SENSE.. and ..CREEPER.. were quickly accepted for overnight rotation on POWER 97 in Winnipeg

2003, X-ENGINE-X release ..INNER DEMONS.. (their 3rd release) with ..BLACK RIVER.. as the first single.

Still with 2003. X-ENGINE-X are hand picked out of over 200 other bands as one of the featured artists on POWER 97's ... of 2003.. compilation CD. This created a demand for radio airplay and ..Black River.. was added to POWER 97's evening rotation.

June 2004, the band decides to take some time ..off.. and reconstruct the XEX machine

.
Jerry and Myke go off to form ..BULGE... Skelly and Jay start one of Canada's most successful tribute bands in GODSIZE (The Best Damn PANTERA Tribute Bands ..EVER!)

Almost 2 years to the day April 29th X-ENGINE-X hit the stage again and announce the bands plans to enter the studio and record some previously unreleased material and brand new songs for an early 2008 release.

Ever the band looking to expose their sickness to the world, X-Engine-X won the opportunity to open for Godsmack during their stop in Winnipeg. Again showing that no matter the size of the venue, X-E-X will corrupt the world one song at a time!

And so the machine rolls on..
